简要总结

This experimental study aims to compare the effectiveness of exergaming wobble board training and conventional wobble board training on improving balance in community-dwelling older adults aged 60 to 80 years. With a sample size of 40, participants are randomly allocated into two groups and undergo a two-week intervention, consisting of five 40-minute sessions per week. Balance is evaluated before and after the intervention using three validated outcome measures: the Unipedal Stance Test (to assess static balance), the Multidirectional Reach Test (for dynamic balance), and sensor-based balance evaluation (to assess balance control in sagittal and frontal planes). The alternate hypothesis of the study states that exergaming, which integrates interactive gaming elements with physical balance tasks, may enhance motivation, engagement, and compliance, leading to greater improvements in balance and postural stability than conventional training methods. The ultimate goal is to identify a more effective and engaging strategy to help reduce the risk of falls and promote functional independence among older adults.
