Inclusion Criteria

Patients of both sexes, from 20 to 70 years old, under treatment of HD> three months with access by arteriovenous fistula.

Exclusion Criteria

Pregnant women; nursing mothers; amputees; patients who report allergy or intolerance to curcuma ou piper nigrum; or present: infectious process; chronic liver disease; sepsis; intestinal malabsorption; cancer; Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome; patients with difficulty swallowing; recent hospitalization (<3 months); decompensated diabetes; those who are consuming vitamin supplement or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
