简要总结
Diaphragmatic ultrasound, especially DTF, is a validated tool for predicting NIV failure in patients with AECOPD. Early detection of diaphragmatic dysfunction with diaphragmatic ultrasound in AECOPD with NIV could help identify high-risk patients and guide clinical decisions

入选标准
- •Patients who were diagnosed with AECOPD and who were indicated for the use of NIV according to the GOLD recommendations for at least one of the following criteria were enrolled: respiratory acidosis (partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide (PaCO2) >45 mmHg and blood pH <7.35), severe dyspnea with clinical signs of increased of breathing, and persistent hypoxemia despite supplemental oxygen therapy including high flow nasal cannula and bronchodilator therapy
排除标准
- •Individuals with pulmonary edema, thoracic deformity, a history of neuromuscular diseases, indications for intubation at the beginning, who were transferred to other hospitals before intubation, who did not undergo intubation, or who did not consent to participate.
