Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Solitary disc bulge .
  • •\-Low back pain with radiculopathy .
  • •\-Patients with neuropathic symptoms like paraesthesia, numbness.
  • •\-Average pain score \>4 on 10 point NRS scale without bladder or bowel involvement .

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Infection at the site of injection.
  • •Contra\-indications to steroids.
  • •Hypersensitivity to radiographic contrast agent.
  • •Presence of b/l radiating leg pain.
  • •Evidence of motor or sensory deficit secondary to disc bulge.
  • •Presence of anatomical deformity of spine and severe psychiatric illness.
  • •Past history of Spine surgery, implant insertion , diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis,
  • •cardiac pacemaker .
  • •Presence of back pain due to malignancy.
  • •Coagulopathies and/ or on anticoagulants.
