Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Solitary disc bulge .
  • \-Low back pain with radiculopathy .
  • \-Patients with neuropathic symptoms like paraesthesia, numbness.
  • \-Average pain score \>4 on 10 point NRS scale without bladder or bowel involvement .

Exclusion Criteria

  • Infection at the site of injection.
  • Contra\-indications to steroids.
  • Hypersensitivity to radiographic contrast agent.
  • Presence of b/l radiating leg pain.
  • Evidence of motor or sensory deficit secondary to disc bulge.
  • Presence of anatomical deformity of spine and severe psychiatric illness.
  • Past history of Spine surgery, implant insertion , diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis,
  • cardiac pacemaker .
  • Presence of back pain due to malignancy.
  • Coagulopathies and/ or on anticoagulants.
