Inclusion Criteria
1)Patients requiring open flap debridement in atleast two quadrants across the midline.
2)Diagnosed cases of Stage II and Grade B Generalized Periodontitis
3)Patients having at least 6 teeth present in each quadrant.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with a history of systemic/local antibiotic therapy within 6 months.
1)Current/Past history of tobacco use.
2)Pregnant and lactating women.
3)Patients in other than ASA-I - physical status.
4)Patients with plaque and bleeding scores = 20% at 4 weeks after phase I therapy
