Inclusion Criteria
1.ASA physical status 1-111
2. Undergoing elective abdominal surgery warranting epidural analgesia
Exclusion Criteria
1. Psychiatric disorders/with impaired communication/deafness.
2. Pregnancy.
3. Patients with a wet tap prior to catheter insertion
