- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Quantification of specific protein biomarkers (CEMP-1, DSPP and MMP-9) in gingival crevicular fluid at different clinical time-points utilizing ELISA and its relation to the severity of Orthodontic root resorption as measured on RVG.Timepoint: To-Prior to start of orthodontic treatment

T1-At the start of retraction

T2-3months following the start of retraction

T3-At the end of retraction
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To evaluate external root resorption using metric measurements as well as grading root resorption.

2.To evaluate the relation if any between root resorption and age, gender and duration of treatment.Timepoint: To-Prior to start of orthodontic treatment

T1-At the start of retraction

T2-3months following the start of retraction

T3-At the end of retraction
