Inclusion Criteria
Suspicion of temporal arteritis according to clinical criteria of the American College of Rheumatology with clinical indicated biopsie of the temporal artery to confirm diagnosis before steroid treatment.
Exclusion Criteria
Typical MRI exclusion criteria (pace maker, metallic foreign bodies, claustrophobia, allergy against MR contrast material, renal dysfuction with GFR below 30, corticoseroid treatment for more than 14 days
