Participants must be healthy paramilitary personnel between 20 and 40 years of age, willing to participate
Physical disability, disease or injury that could interfere with or be worsened by physical activity (obstructive disease, glaucoma) or a severe cognitive deficit (eg, dementia).
Extensive surgery the past year.
Those are advised not to participate in moderate exercise by their doctor.
Diagnosed with serious mental illness (eg, psychosis or bipolar disorder) or indicating acute signs of suicidality (eg, recent and ongoing thoughts of death/suicide).
Currently or recently (past 3â??months) engaged in regular structured Yoga, on average 2â??days/week or more.
Simultaneously taking part in another research study.
History of drug or chemical abuse within 6 months prior to screening.
Any other disease, metabolic dysfunction, physical examination finding, or clinical laboratory finding giving reasonable suspicion that might affect the interpretation of the results or render the patient at high risk from treatment complications.
Inability to comply with study and follow-up procedures.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Yoga may improve physical health of the practitioner, when practiced regularly in terms of autonomic function, cardiorespiratory variables and cognitive aspects.Timepoint: Autonomic function along with body composition, Heart rate , Blood Pressure, Lung Function test, strength flexibility will be assessed and cognitive performance will be assed. at the start of the course and after 4 months.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Yoga practice may have beneficial role to physical health and there may be a correlation with cognitive performance.Timepoint: Autonomic function along with body composition, Heart rate , Blood Pressure, Lung Function test, strength flexibility will be assessed and cognitive performance will be assed. at the start of the course and after 4 months. A correlation will be drawn between physiological parameters and cognitive parameters.
