Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Hypotensive patients (MAP less then 65mmhg) of age 18 to 80 years in the ICU will be included in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients having h/o forearm surgery
  • 2\.Local infection
  • 3\.Local artery embolism
  • 4\.Negative Allenâ??s test
  • 5\.Abnormal ulnar artery
  • 6\.Patients who had undergone arterial puncture within one\-month period immediately preceding the commencement of the trial
  • 7\.Abnormal coagulopathy
  • 8\.Patients who do not give informed consent
