- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Both the drugs were equally effective not only in reducing plaque and gingival inflammation but also in reducing pocket depths and causing significant gain in attachment level as evident by the statistically significant reduction in all the parameters including PI, GI,PPD and RAL (probability value less than 0.001) and both the drugs were significantly more efficient than Scaling and root planing alone (SRP) alone as a therapy.Timepoint: baseline 1 month 3months
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Both the drugs were equally acceptable without any adverse drug reactions mentioned in previous studies regarding Chlorhexidine.Timepoint: baseline, 7 days.
