Persons:
-with mental disabilities according to § 2 para. 2 SGB IX
-wo make use of assistance services in accordance with § 78 SGB IX for self-determined and independent management of everyday life in the form of outpatient assisted living
-who are not gainfully employed and are not engaged in any other regular work, employment or educational activity
Additional criteria:
-age between 18 and 67
-have been without employment in the general labor market for at least one year (full- or part-time, mini-job)
-currently not in sheltered employment or day structuring measures (without visiting a contact point) or participating in education or training measures
-currently incapacitated for work or not considered employable on the general labor market
-rejecting placement in a worksop for disabled people, a day structure/work therapy measure or a day care center so far
-interested in participating in a new and innovative employment project (BiSi) and the associated scientific evaluation study
no intoxication, no delirium, no dementia syndrome

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The quantitative pre-post evaluation is expected to show an improvement in social participation and psychosocial functioning (primary outcomes) on the part of the participants compared to the control groups without the BiSi program.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method An evaluation of further psychosocial and health-related outcome parameters (e.g. quality of life, utilization of treatments and support services, psychopathological symptoms, depressiveness, etc.) is planned.<br>In addition, possible predictors (from the various baseline and course variables) for favorable and negative courses or different participant profiles are to be identified as part of the scientific analyses after the two-year program period.
