Name Time Method <p>- To evaluate the validity of current surveillance data, by getting better<br /><br>insight into the prevalence and risk factors among the population groups<br /><br>visiting the general practice or STI clinic for STI testing and those who do<br /><br>not seek STI Healthcare (but have been at risk for STI).<br /><br>- Gain better insight into the factors (demographic and behavioral) associated<br /><br>with STIs in the Netherlands.<br /><br>- To obtain data that can serve as input for transmission models in the<br /><br>Netherlands to predict the impact of interventions.<br /><br>- To obtain insights in changes over time of the STI prevalence by comparing<br /><br>the results from this study with the results of the previous edition of PECAN<br /><br>(2017). </p><br>
