- •Age <18 years (indication for non-surgically assisted RME)
- •transverse deficiency of the upper dental arch in relation to the lower dental arch (model analysis) with and without uni- / bilateral crossbite with a transversely deficient apical base (according to A.M. Schwarz or McNamara)
排除标准
- •Syndromes / cleft lip and palate / genetic diseases
- •simultaneous therapy with face mask (Delaire, Alt-RAMEC)
- •Earlier or planned extraction of permanent teeth
- •tooth hypoplasia (permanent dentition)
- •periodontal / gingival damage (probing depth> 3mm or radiologically detectable), smoker
- •previous orthodontic treatment
- •systemic diseases
- •dental diseases (caries, fractures, granulomas etc.)
