Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Both sexes
  • 2\.Ages between 40 years and 70 years
  • 3\.Between 1 month and 6 months after the onset of stroke (Arya et al., 2012; Timmermans et al., 2010\)
  • 4\.Motor portion of FMA\-UE score between 19 and 58 (Fugl\-Meyer et al., 1975; Winstein et al., 2016\)
  • 5\.Initiation of active extension of the wrist and fingers (Winstein et al., 2003\)
  • 6\.Right\-handed assessing by Edinburgh Inventory Test
  • 7\.Both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke survivors
  • 8\.Able to understand and follow instruction
  • 9\.Willing to participate in the study
  • 10\.Stable medical condition

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Other neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, peripheral neuropathy
  • 2\.Bilateral stroke
  • 3\.Uncontrolled medical conditions
  • 4\. Musculoskeletal problems such as deformities, recent fracture, and reflex sympathetic dystrophy on the affected UE
  • 5\.Pain that interferes with functional use of UE as identified by pain/ROM FMA\-UE pain score of 1 for at least 2 joints on the paretic arm (Tretriluxana et al., 2013\)
  • 6\.All types of aphasia
  • 7\.Visual problem that cannot be corrected
