1.It meets the diagnostic criteria of knee osteoarthritis;
2.Radiographic evidence of osteoarthritis assessed as Kellgren–Lawrence grade 1 (doubtful narrowing, possible osteophytic lipping) to grade 4 (highest Kellgren–Lawrence grade, indicating large osteophytes and marked narrowing of joint space;
3.Palpation of one or more active or potential trigger point in the skeletal muscles of one lower extremity;
4.Be 38 years of age or older.
1.Have received glucocorticoid injections in the past 1 year;
2.Has rheumatoid arthritis or similar rheumatoid diseases in the present or past;
3.Present or past gout or false knee gout;
4.An active infection of the knee within the past year;
5.Other physical conditions that are more limited or painful than knee osteoarthritis in activities such as sitting, standing, walking, or climbing stairs;
6.The state of being pregnant or ready to be pregnant;
7.There are contraindications to corticosteroid injection.
