Inclusion Criteria
1.patient undergoing elective surgeries requiring nasotracheal intubation who have consented
2.ASA Grade 1 and 2
3.Mallampati Grade I and II
4.Mouth opening at least 2 finger breadth
Exclusion Criteria
1.patients with known severe deformities of the nasal cavity, mass in nasal cavity and oropharynx
2.History of severe epistaxis or epistaxis within a month
3.current coagulation abnormality
4.History of fracture or operation of cranial base
5.History of CSF rhinorrhoea
