Brief Summary

It is a randomized two groups comprayive clinical trial to evaluatethe efficacy of classicallymentioned compound Dashmool saindhav sarpi in the management of Migraine.The study aimed to conduct the trial on 30 patients from OPD and IPD of VAIDYA YAGYA DUTT SHARMA AYURVEDIC COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL KHURJA. Study includes patients between 16 to 60 years.The drug administered as Nasya and Oral.In group A oral dose of Dashmool saindhav sarpi is one pala i.e.48 grams in to two divided dose for 2 months and in group B purva karma sthanik Abhyanga with murchita tila taila followed by Swedana.In Pradhan karma  dose of nasya 6-8 drops in each nostrils followed by kavalam with sukhoshna Ambu for 7days repeat after one week.Such 4 cycles will be done duration for 2 months

Inclusion Criteria

Patients having sign and symptoms of Ardhavabhedaka (Migraine)according to Ayurvedic classics as well as Modern Parameters.

Exclusion Criteria

All patients contraindicated for Nasya,Sinusitis, hypertension, Severe depression or psychiatric disorders,Referred headache,Cluster headache,Trigeminal neuralgia,space occupying lesions.
