Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients with bilateral senile uncomplicated cataract with nuclear sclerosis grade 1 to 3 planned for sequential cataract surgery by phacoemulsification technique under topical anesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients unwilling for undergoing cataract surgery under topical anaesthesia 2\. Past cataract surgery except operated for subject study 3\. Any ocular condition that may affect pain perception 4\. Patients having inflammatory conditions of eye and annexa 5\. Patients with insufficient pupillary dilatation
