Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All the patients of hypertension taking anti- hypertensive drugs since last sixth months
- •Adult patients between 18-60years
- •Patients of either gender
- •Patient ready to give written informed consent and willing to participate in the trial
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient suffering from Gestational hypertension
- •Patients suffering from hypertension with Brain disorders
- •Patients with history of thyroid disorders and taking anti-epileptic medication
- •Patients on chronic medications other than anti-hypertensive drugs
- •Use of any drug that may affect nitric oxide synthesis (nitrates, CNS depressant, steroids)
- •Patients with history of Diabetes mellitus
- •Renal failure patients
- •Patient with history of ischemic heart disease, Transient ischemic attack (TIA), Stroke or peripheral arterial disease
- •Patients with history of recurrent herpes
- •Patients with history of Cancer treated with radiotherapy or chemotherapy during the last year
