Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Pre\-eclamptic parturient who are on antihypertensive treatment.
  • 2\.Singleton pregnancy.
  • 3\.Elective LSCS
  • 4\.Normal bleeding profile.
  • 5\. More than 36 weeks of pregnancy.
  • 6\.ASA II and III.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Signs of HELLP syndrome.
  • 2\. Fetal distress and cord prolapse.
  • 3\. Patients with contraindications to spinal anaesthesia.
  • 4\.Patients with a significant history of drug or alcohol abuse.
  • 5\.Previous LSCS.
  • 6\.Morbid obesity(BMI \>35kg/m2\).
  • 7\.Neurological or musculoskeletal disease.
  • 8\.Unable to understand visual analogue score.
  • 9\. Thrombocytopenia (platelet count \< 80000/mm3\).
  • 10\. Placental abnormalities like placenta previa and abruptio placenta
