Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Pre\-eclamptic parturient who are on antihypertensive treatment.
- •2\.Singleton pregnancy.
- •3\.Elective LSCS
- •4\.Normal bleeding profile.
- •5\. More than 36 weeks of pregnancy.
- •6\.ASA II and III.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Signs of HELLP syndrome.
- •2\. Fetal distress and cord prolapse.
- •3\. Patients with contraindications to spinal anaesthesia.
- •4\.Patients with a significant history of drug or alcohol abuse.
- •5\.Previous LSCS.
- •6\.Morbid obesity(BMI \>35kg/m2\).
- •7\.Neurological or musculoskeletal disease.
- •8\.Unable to understand visual analogue score.
- •9\. Thrombocytopenia (platelet count \< 80000/mm3\).
- •10\. Placental abnormalities like placenta previa and abruptio placenta
