入排标准
入选标准
- •1.Patients undergoing routine uneventful surgery for cataracts grade 2-3 (LOCS III)
- •2.Patients willing to participate in the study and come for follow up
排除标准
- •1.Patients with uncontrolled Diabetes (HbA1C >7gm/dl)
- •2.K/C/O IDDM or Juvenile DM
- •3.Patients receiving other drugs that could alter the blood glucose (systemic corticosteroids, hormone therapy, anti depressants etc.)
- •4.Known case of systemic disease that could influence the blood glucose (Acromegaly, Cushingâ??s syndrome, Pancreatic disorders)
- •5.Patient who have eventful surgery requiring administering of topical steroids more than the usual regimen
- •6.Patients with LOCS III > grade 4 cataracts
