Inclusion criteria common to all groups: children about 9 years of age with intact primary canines and molars; without prior orthodontic interventions; with preventive / interceptive orthodontic needs or space supervision. Participants may not have chronic or systemic diseases that affect dental resorption or formation.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To evaluate the pattern of root resorption rate / speed of primary teeth, through the comparison of panoramic radiographs (baseline and after 1 year of treatment), from the measure of root resorption (quantitative) and scores (qualitative)
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To evaluate the influence of root resorption of primary teeth on the formation/eruption of sucessor permanent, through the comparison of panoramic radiographs (baseline and after 1 year of treatment), assessing root formation of permament teeth (Nolla stage) and measuring the distance from the cusp tip to the occlusal plan.
