1. patients of age between 20 and 80
2. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade I and II
3. Both Male and Female
4. attending our tertiary care Medical College Hospital for elective cataract extraction and Intra ocular Lens Implantation surgery
5. up to a total of 80 numbers between the period from 15 August 2018 to 31st December 2018
1. patients with known allergy to study drugs,
2. patient refusal of local anaesthetic block,
3. high myopia, glaucoma,
4. ocular infection,
5. mental retardation,
6. uncontrolled hypertension
7. chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
