简要总结
A study on the effect of Dexmedetomidine on the volume and dose of Propofol required to achieve loss of consciousness using Propofol based Marsh model of target controlled infusion.
The present study will be undertaken to assess the effect of dexmedetomidine as a pre medicant on the dose and volume of the induction agent -propofol to achieve unconsciousness (loss of eyelash reflex) using Marsh model of TCI.
The secondary objectives are to compare the time required to achieve unconsciousness in both the groups and to study the haemodynamic changes in both the groups.
