Inclusion Criteria
1) All elective patients admitted for surgical repair of cardiovascular disease.
2) Male, Female patients above 18 years of age
3) subjects ready to give written informed consent
4) subjects willing to follow up till 3 months after the intervention
Exclusion Criteria
1) Subjects with history of or current neurological or psychiatric impairment, or cognitive dysfunction that could compromise data collection
2)Subject with severe respiratory or cardiac compromise
3) Subjects with severely deranged renal or hepatic function or active infection
4) Subjects with postoperative complications
(delayed extubation or prolonged ventilation beyond 48 hours)that may jeopardize the study outcome.
