Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients on HD treatment at least 3times/week.
- •2\.Willing to provide consent.
- •3\.Male and female, age\>18 years old.
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
- •Number of subjects for this age range:
- •F.1\.2 Adults (18\-64 years) yes
- •F.1\.2\.1 Number of subjects for this age range
- •F.1\.3 Elderly (\>\=65 years) yes
- •F.1\.3\.1 Number of subjects for this age range
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Dialysis for \<4 months
- •2\.Unable to obtain echocardiographic data of sufficient quality to allow analysis
- •3\.Cardiac transplant recipients
- •4\.NYHA IV heart failure
- •5\.Chronic obstructive airway disease, other chronic/acute lung condition exacerbating hypoxia and/or unable to tolerate O2 therapy.
- •6\.Patients on long term oxygen therapy (LTOT).
- •7\. Pregnant women or female subjects in childbearing age.
