Inclusion Criteria
- •ASA physical status I/ II, scheduled to undergo elective non\-abdominal and non\-thoracic surgery in supine position, anticipating duration of general anaesthesia between 1\-3 hours and requiring mechanical ventilation after intubation
Exclusion Criteria
- •Prematurity, previous thoracic surgery, upper or lower airway infection, airway anomaly, cardiac disease, pulmonary disease, anticipated difficult airway, pneumothorax, pleural effusion, or pneumonia.
