Brief Summary

- Ethical clearance will be obtained from the Institutional Ethical Committee on the proposed study

• All the participants will be screened based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria prior to their enrolment into the study.

• The study purpose will be explained and all participants will be asked to sign a written informed consent form.

• Individuals will be screened for diabetes, frailty using Frailty index for elders and  for sarcopenia using SARC-F screening tool

• Demographic data will be noted of all participants included in the study

• Individuals who are considered as diabetic, frail and  sarcopenic will be included in the study and will be administered using short physical performance battery for lower extremity functional status.

• The data will be analyzed using SPSS Software.

Inclusion Criteria
  • Individuals with diabetes mellitus aged 65 years and above of both gender and willing to participate in the study.
  • Individuals with a score of 3 or more on Frailty Index For Elders(FIFE).
Exclusion Criteria
  • Individuals diagnosed with any neurological conditions.
  • Bed ridden patients.
  • Individuals with musculoskeletal deformity.
  • Individuals with cancer or under palliative care.
