Inclusion Criteria
•Participants should be 18 years or above
•Must be attending TB care in the selected health facilities
•People with pulmonary TB must be on anti-TB treatment for at least two weeks for the purpose of preventing transmission
• Must score 5 or above on PHQ-9 (Kroenke et al., 2010) and report the presence of at least some disability.
Exclusion Criteria
•Participants with a plan to be transferred out of the study area in the next three months
•Patients with severe mental, neurological or substance use disorders
•Actively suicidal patients
•People with known MDR-TB
•TB patients in the in-patient department
•Participants who do not speak Amharic language
