Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. patient with diabetes mellitus type 2
- •2\. treated or used to be treated with Metformin (immediate release)
- •3\. Thai patients, aged \> 18 years old
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. patients who withdraw metformin due to other reasons which was not gastrointestinal side effect
- •2\. patients with irritable bowel syndrome
- •3\. patients with inflammatory bowel disease
- •4\. patients with cirrhosis child B or C
- •5\. patients with advanced stage of cancer
- •6\. patient with AIDS
- •7\. pregnant patients
