Inclusion Criteria
Age 18-65 years of both sexes
2.Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Grade I & II
3.Patients scheduled for elective carcinoma colorectal surgeries.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension and coronary artery disease.
2. Patients with morbid obesity BMI >40kg/m2).
3. Preoperative body temperature >37.5°C
4. Surgeries lasting less than 2 hours.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To study the average intraoperative temperature values in both the groups.Timepoint: the temperature will be recorded every 10 minutes from start of surgery to end of surgery
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To study intraoperative hemodynamic parameters in the form of MBP, heart rate. <br/ ><br>To study intraoperative use of amount of fluids, blood products and opioids. <br/ ><br>To study Platelet and coagulation pathway as tested by thromo-elastography. <br/ ><br>Study postoperative recovery times (Aldrete score9) <br/ ><br>To study postoperative incidence of any shivering or sweating in the two groups. <br/ ><br>To study any other adverse effect in any of the patients. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: all hemodynamic will be recorded every 10 minutes. <br/ ><br>total, fluids, blood products and opioids will be recorded at the end of surgery <br/ ><br>the TEG will be recorded baseline and at the end of surgery <br/ ><br>Aldrett score and shivering will be recorded at the end of surgery
