a. Patients with senile cataract undergoing phacoemulsification

b. Age > 40 years

c. Patient willing for follow up

Exclusion Criteria

a. Complicated cataract

b. Previous intraocular surgery

c. Age < 40 years

d. Adnexal infections/ Active blepharitis/ Atopic keratoconjunctivitis

f. Patients not willing for follow-up
