- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Higher muscle glycogen accumulation after consumption of the test diet during the 4-hour recovery period compared to the control diet, verified by the muscle biopsy method followed by acid hydrolysis of the tissue, from the finding of a larger and statistically higher accumulation of glycogen content in g / 100g of tissue.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method arger area below the glycemic and insulinemic curve after consumption of the test diet during the 4-hour recovery period compared to the control diet, verified by the serum chemiluminescence method and area calculation by the trapezoidal method in GraphPad Prism, version 6, based on the finding of a larger statistically significant area.;Higher glycogen synthase activity in muscle tissue after consumption of the test diet during the 4 hours recovery period compared to the control diet, verified by muscle biopsy followed by spectrophotometric method in supernatant extracted from muscle tissue, from the finding of a higher enzymatic activity with the test diet.
