1 Have a primary complaint of neck pain without unilateral or bilateral upper-extremity symptoms.
2 Pain minimum of 3 months in duration
3 A baseline Neck Disability Index (NDI) score of at least 10%
1 Identi�cation of any medical signs suggestive of a non-musculoskeletal etiology of symptoms like cervicogrenic headache, torticolis, acute respiratory infection, sore throat etc.
2 A history of a whiplash injury within 6 weeks of the examination
3 A diagnosis of cervical spinal stenosis, evidence of any central nervous system involvement, signs consistent with nerve root compression
4 Previous cervicothoracic surgery
