- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Monitoring and analysis of

Perfusion index, perfusion index ratio, heart rate per minute, mean arterial pressure and temperatureTimepoint: At Induction 0 minutes

2 minutes

4 minutes

6 minutes

10 minutes

15 minutes

30 minutes

- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. To predict the success of spinal blockade using PI in comparison to the conventional pinprick method.

2. To evaluate the changes in perfusion index (PI) vs skin temperature, and mean arterial pressure (MAP) during spinal anesthesia and to determine the success of spinal anesthesia using the PI values.

3. To predict post spinal hypotension based on PI (baseline).Timepoint: At Induction 0 minutes

2 minutes

4 minutes

6 minutes

10 minutes

15 minutes

30 minutes
