1. Subjects willing to comply with study protocol.
2. Dental students aged between 18 to 25 years.
3. Minimum 20 teeth available for evaluation.
4. Subjects without any history of tobacco.
5. Subjects fulfilling the clinical criteria of Gingival Index (GI, Loe H. and Sillness P. 1963)less than or equals to 1.
1. Subjects with shallow & deep periodontal pockets.
2. Presence of any systemic disease.
3. Subjects undergoing antibiotic therapy.
4. Subjects using Green tea regularly.
5. Subjects using mouth rinse occasionally or regularly as a routine oral hygiene aid.
6. Subjects undergoing orthodontic treatment or wearing any orthodontic appliance or any prosthesis.
7. Subjects with a recent tooth extraction
8. Undergone Periodontal treatment in previous 3 months.
9. Subjects having allergy to mouthwash.
