Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients of American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II criteria belonging to age group of 18\-65 years undergoing laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Obesity(BMI \>30 kg/m2\), anticipated difficult airway, cardiopulmonary disease, renal or hepatic insufficiency, neurological or psychiatric disorders, hypertension (BP \>140/90 mmHg), diabetes mellitus, allergy to dexmedetomidine, alcohol abuse, patients on anti\-platelet drugs or steroids and pregnancy.
