Inclusion Criteria
1. ASA I and II
2. Male or female
3. between 18-60 years undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patientâ??s refusal
2. History of allergy to opioids
3. History of uncontrolled cardiovascular conditions e.g. hypertension, ischemic heart disease, conduction defects etc.
4. Compromised renal/hepatic/ neuronal functions
5. Pregnant and lactating women
6. Endocrine disease e.g. hyper and hypothyroidism.
7. On any of the following drug e.g. calcium channel blockers, beta blockers, magnesium sulphate.
