Female gender; age between 18 and 80 years; presenting an urgency symptom assessed through the questionnaire ICIQ OAB; have had the urgency symptom for more than 3 months; ave voluntary contraction of the pelvic floor muscles during inspection; sufficient literacy to fill out the necessary forms and volunteer to sign the consent form.
Pregnancy or intent to become pregnant during the study period; postpartum period (up to 3 months postpartum); women who have never had sexual intercourse with vaginal penetration; women who have had physiotherapy in the last year to treat the symptoms of overactive bladder; women with neurological, metabolic disorders (diabetes associated with neuropathy), or other pathology affecting the functioning of the lower urinary tract; women with suspected other bladder dysfunctions (symptoms of dysuria, suprapubic pain and / or fever, hematuria, vulvar vaginal pain); women with recurrent urinary tract infection; prolapse beyond the hymen; use of medications to control symptoms related to bladder dysfunction within 4 weeks prior to initiation of treatment; previous surgeries involving pelvic floor structures or for the intervention of symptoms of urinary incontinence in the last 6 months; cognitive disorder that compromises the individual's participation at any stage of the study.
