All patients >18yrs of age with isolated non-minor hand injuries (Modified hand injury severity score >20) attending the emergency department JIPMER
1. Hand injuries associated with involvement of mid forearm and above.
2. Infected hand injuries with evidence of infections extending to forearm.
3. Patients with contraindications /hypersensitivity to Local anaesthetic (Bupivacaine) and Morphine used .
4. Patients in whom visual analog scale cannot be assessed.
5. Hemodynamically unstable
6. Patients with neurovascular injury in the forearm
7. Patients with coagulopathy
8.Patient associated with other injuries.
