Patients with moderate to severe chronic periodontitis as assessed by probing pocket depth (PPD) more than equal to 5mm and clinical attachment level (CAL) more than equal to 5mm.
Patients having minimum two osseous defects, which may be one, two or three walled defects. Radiographic evidence of intrabony defects should exist as revealed by radiovisiography (RVG) initially and later on confirmed and standardized by CBCT.
Patients with history of systemic diseases, allergies or drug usage
Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in previous 6 months
