Inclusion Criteria
Patients over 50 years of age.
Admitted to ICU under the trauma unit.
Exclusion Criteria
Unable to communicate in English
Expected ICU length of stay <24 hours
Re-admission to ICU
ICU admission for palliation
Death is deemed imminent and inevitable
Unable to gain informed consent
