- •Patients above 18 years of age.
- •Patients undergoing total and near total thyroidectomy.
排除标准
- •Patients on Calcium or Vitamin D supplementation.
- •Patients with pre-existing parathyroid gland diseases, hypocalcaemia, Para Neoplastic syndromes, Chronic Kidney Disease.
- •Patients with history of neck dissection/thyroid surgery/radiotherapy for neck/ auto transplant of parathyroid glands
