Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Age more than 20 years old
  • 2\. Subjects with diagnosis of RHC
  • 3\. Diagnosis of systemic sclerosis by rheumatologist according to systemic sclerosis guidelines (van den Hoogen et al., 2013\)
  • 4\. Diagnosis of CTEPH according to the PH guidelines (Galiè et al., 2015\) by cardiologist and hematologist

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Unwillingness or inability to perform the testing procedure
  • 2\. Subjects with a history of cardiovascular disease (i.e. coronary heart disease, chronic HF and myocardial infarction) within 3 months before test
  • 3\. Subjects with a history of systemic infections within 3 months before test
  • 4\. Subjects with symptoms of respiratory tract infection within 6 weeks prior to the study
  • 5\. Subjects with absolute contraindications of CPET
  • 6\. Subjects with type 2, 3, or 5 PH
  • 7\. SSc patients who cannot use treadmill due to conditions such as painful, ischemic ulcers, active myositis, extremity contracture, severe malnutrition, and polyneuropathy
