Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age more than 20 years old
- •2\. Subjects with diagnosis of RHC
- •3\. Diagnosis of systemic sclerosis by rheumatologist according to systemic sclerosis guidelines (van den Hoogen et al., 2013\)
- •4\. Diagnosis of CTEPH according to the PH guidelines (Galiè et al., 2015\) by cardiologist and hematologist
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Unwillingness or inability to perform the testing procedure
- •2\. Subjects with a history of cardiovascular disease (i.e. coronary heart disease, chronic HF and myocardial infarction) within 3 months before test
- •3\. Subjects with a history of systemic infections within 3 months before test
- •4\. Subjects with symptoms of respiratory tract infection within 6 weeks prior to the study
- •5\. Subjects with absolute contraindications of CPET
- •6\. Subjects with type 2, 3, or 5 PH
- •7\. SSc patients who cannot use treadmill due to conditions such as painful, ischemic ulcers, active myositis, extremity contracture, severe malnutrition, and polyneuropathy
