Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I\-II having modified mallampati classification (MMT) I\-II scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with pharyngeal pathology, aspiration risk ( Pregnancy, Hiatal hernia), low pulmonary compliance, cervical spine injury, poor dentition/loose teeth ,temporo\-mandibular joint ankylosis ,restricted mouth opening \<3 cm, facial and tongue anomalies or any other airway anomaly, history of obstructive sleep apnea, BMI \>\=30 kg/m2 and who refuse to participate will be excluded from the study.
