Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-II having modified mallampati classification (MMT) I-II scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.
Patients with pharyngeal pathology, aspiration risk ( Pregnancy, Hiatal hernia), low pulmonary compliance, cervical spine injury, poor dentition/loose teeth ,temporo-mandibular joint ankylosis ,restricted mouth opening <3 cm, facial and tongue anomalies or any other airway anomaly, history of obstructive sleep apnea, BMI >=30 kg/m2 and who refuse to participate will be excluded from the study.
