- •Patient with either sickle cell disease (HbSS/HbSß0/HbSC/HbSß+) or ß-thalassemia (major or transfusion dependent thalassemia intermedia)
- •Currently on chronic transfusion program.
- •>18 years of age

- •No venous access for blood drawings
