The ACR criteria for the classification and reporting of Osteoarthritis
Clinical and radiographic 91% sensitive
86% specific
Knee pain plus at least 1 of 3
Age greater than 50 years
Age >50 years
Stiffness <30 minutes
Crepitus+ Osteophytes+
1.Patients with other forms of arthritis such as Rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, Gout, infective arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.
2.Patients with acute joint trauma.
3.Patients under analgesic medication.
4.BMI 30 and above
5.Severe knee bursitis
6.Severe anemia.
7.Pregnancy
