conscious and well oriented
Previously diagnosed cases of bronchial asthma
Those patients who are ready to sign the informed consent form
PEFR less than 40%
Patients with a history of Tuberculosis, Emphysema, Chronic airway limitation
History of cardiac disease
History of any other complicated respiratory diseases/having any organic lesions such as a tumour or any anatomical defect in the airway
Cyanosis
Hypertension (above 160mm Hg)
Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus (FBS greater than 126mg/dl)
