Name Time Method Dialysis Specific Self-efficacy Scale (DSSS) (Appendix VI) will be used to measure ESRD patients’ self-efficacy in relation to their self-management of dialysis including fluid and diet management (Griva et al., 2011). The DSSS is an 8-item questionnaire using a 10-point Likert scale ranging from 1 to 10 (with 1 representing not all confident” and 10 representing totally confident”). The higher scores indicate higher self-efficacy. Outcomes will be measured at baseline, 1- and 3- and 6-month follow-up.
